8:00 am- 3:00 pm
Outdoor Learning Areas
We have multiple outdoor learning areas for students to learn, create, and explore. Students learn about gardening and harvesting and are able to engage in hands-on learning experiences along with an acre to play on that has a ninja course/play set. These areas are used daily, weather permitting.
Daily Communication with Families
It's important to me that I communicate regularly with families and help foster a sense of partnership and collaboration. Working together not only allows me get to know my students better, but it can also lead to increased student engagement, motivation, and academic success.
Small Group Settings
All throughout the day, I am able to meet with students in small groups and individually to incorporate hands on learning activities during reading, math, social studies and science lessons. Students may work with other peers who share similar interests to complete projects together.
Engaging Activities Embedded Into Daily Lessons
Students are encouraged to choose activities or tasks, fostering differentiation and individual preferences, throughout their learning. STEM concepts are related to students' daily lives so they can make real-world connections.
